Who is your best friend? What is he/she like?

Who is your best friend? What is he/she like?

A friend is someone who helps you up when you’re down, and if they can’t, they lay down beside you and listen. (Winnie the Pooh)

Suggested Book:

Winnie the Pooh Friendship Day is a book about everybody in the Hundred-Acre Wood getting ready for a Friendship Day party.

Important lessons from this book include: “Friendship equals caring, in very special ways–for friends are always there, not just on “Friendship Days”!  and “Caring is what Friendship is all about.”

Koala Pete’s™ suggestions for this version:

  • Listen to Winnie-the-Pooh’s Friendship song.
  • Visit Whatever Dee Dee Wants and make a crepe paper Friendship Badge for a friend. Write one word on the badge to describe that person. Take a picture of the badge then give it to your friend. Save the picture for the book you’re creating.
