April 18 – Disney Churro Recipe & So Much More from Disney

Disney sells over 5.5 million churros each year. You can find the recipe on its blog. While you’re there, you’ll also want to check out their Magic Moments, Disney Recipes and Featured Video.

If you’re a Disney fan, you won’t want to miss these other fun stories: special virtual viewing of the all-new “Magic Happens” Parade at Disneyland park, the behind-the-scenes tour of Walt Disney Imagineering or a creative at-home recreation of Kilimanjaro Safaris at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

What else is Disney doing for others at this time? They’ve given 150,000 rain ponchos to MedShare, a humanitarian aid organization, for distribution to hospitals in need. They have donated more than 100,000 N95 masks. When Walt Disney Television’s productions were forced to shut down, they committed much-needed resources to their communities.

Some of their artists and storytellers are reading their favorite Disney stories from their home in“Storytime with…”. Walt Disney Animation Studios is teaching fans how to draw popular Disney characters through its #DrawWithDisneyAnimation series on YouTube.

Last, but not least, you will want to be sure to take part in Disneyland Park’s Magic Happens parade—where you’ll see beloved stories in your own home. Until families and friends are able to come together once again, Disney is committed to bringing joy and comfort to them, now when they need it most.

Today’s activity: Make some churros, learn how to draw a favorite Disney character, or listen to a story read by a Disney artist or storyteller.
